Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Go ahead, Bern. A new name makes it completly yours and breaks any ties I have to it."
Night purr laughs and catches the mouse head on a claw, moving up to Dominic's face. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Thank you, i shall think of a name."
"Ill get you back night! you know i will!" he grabs a chair and sits. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Still 'laughing,' Night makes the mouse's mouth move in tune with Dominic's words. Obviously, she's trying to provoke him.
Riki leans back and swings Moonsplinter in lazy circles. "Aye, I'm sure you will." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I shall call it Banefang." He twirls it around and testing the balance.
"Don't test me Night!" Dom uses his spell to increase the gravity around night. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I like. It suits nicely." Riki watches her axe with a bemused experission for a moment, then tests the sharpness of the spikes, pricking her finger on one. "Ouch!"
Night laughs, fighting the gravity, pushes Dominic over and licks his face. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Told you it was sharp!" Bern checks the sharpness once again on Banefang.
"Ok Ok you win Night! Release me!" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Yeah, no lie there, that's for sure." Finally through with inspecting her new weapon, she places it on her back and grins at Bern. "Banefang isn't even a week old yet, when I uh...bought...it, she had just came out of the forge."
Nightbringer allows Dominic up. "You know I always win." Purring happily, she leaps up next to Riki, who absentmindly scratches behind her ears. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
((Sorry for not posting for a while everyone! Computer broke! ^^))
"I already have some ideas for some improvements on Bangefang." He carefully examines the handle and then straps it to his back. "You wish! You just got lucky today! I'll be right back, im gonna get a drink." Dom gets up and walks to the bar to get a soda. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Really? I'm curious to know what these would be." Riki unhooks the morning star and lays down on the couch comfortably. She runs her hands over the weapon, enjoying it's cool metal feel.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The door to the cafe open and a familiar redhead steps through the door.
"Hello, everybody." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Riki glances up and smiles at the newcomer before returning her attention and gaze back to Bern, still curious as to what changes the gargoyle was planning to make to her old axe.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The man glances at the people sitting and talking before quietly taking his usual seat in the back and closing his eyes. Small snores are heard moments later.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I'm probably gonna attach a good strong chain at the end of the handle. I think that will give me an advantage for long range and short range." He looks at the bottom of the handle to see if a chain would fit then puts it on his lap.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Riki grins and nods her head apperciatively. "An interesting twist to a weapon like that. I think it'd be possible."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"You have any suggestions for Banefang?"
"You could give it to me! I'll take good care of it I promise!" Dom strolls back to his sit with soda in hand. He sits down and begins sipping. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Well, you're a man dealing with shadows. Why not play in that field any? The axe is good with enchantments, and I'm sure you could find a worthwhile spell."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Hmmm... Interesting. Oh by the way Dom. Without your little gravity spell you wouldn't be able to lift this thing."
"Hahaha very funny... pick on the canadian i see how it is!" Dom acts like hes upset and gulpss down the last of his coke. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Nightbringer and Riki laugh at Dominic. Riki throws a pillow at him. "We need some new entertainment, guys. We bloody need something to do. I want to try out my new weapon, and I'm in need of an adventure. Funny, at the end of Megiddo I never wanted to go anywhere ever again, but now I'm longing the wide open roads!"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Yeah that sounds good, need to try out my new axe as well... hmmm we could have a tournement between us four at the battle arena?"
"An adventure sounds amazing right now! How bout you Night?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"New places, new faces. It sounds compelling." Nightbringer stretches out her wings and curls back up.
"Eh...I dunno, Bern. Not quite the way I'd like to test Moonsplinter out, ya know? I'd feel guilty bashing you guy's heads in. Much rather find some evil villian to try it out on." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Where could we find one?" Bern gets out of his seat and begins to pace back and forth.
"The main problem is finding somewhere to go." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"No idea. They show up in their own time, usually. Hopefully one will soon. I'm getting a little restless around here." She frowns and gets up to pace back and forth.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
*comes in looking tired*
"This place keeps looking kind of dead.....has everyone lost interest in roleplay?" *sits down on a chair and orders herself a drink* "Mmm.....if Kadino, Human Smoke, Shadow, and Kei Kusanagi were on more, I'd try and start up "The Portals of Paradaniah"....." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
I am always online! I just never post anything or have nothing to post!
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Well what can we do in the meantime Riki?" Bern keeps on pacing but now in tune with Riki's.
"We could...... Hmmm, not sure. Looks like its up to you Riki. Unless you have something Night." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Riki stares at the floor, lost in thought. "I have no idea. I guess...we wait. Until something blows our way. Usually, going looking for trouble isn't nearly as much fun as having it ambush you."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Hey Bern. Could you give my weapons a boost? There lacking something."
"Depends... What do I get in return? Hey Riki. What should be my asking price?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Hmm...well, what do you need? Money? Information? Spells? There's plenty of things you could ask for." She nods her head and walks over to stand between the two.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Im good with money, i have enough swords to open a weapons shop. I usaully sell them. Information i don't need so that leaves spells. You know any Dominic?"
"Well uh... I know somebody who does, I could give him a ring." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Who's this somebody?" Riki asks curiously.
Nightbringer snorts and buffets Dominic with a wing. "You're not serious. What makes you think that he'll even talk to you?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"He will. He owes me anyway! I mean i did find what he was looking for didn't i? I'll be right back." Dominic walks over to the phone on the other side of the cafe and dials some numbers. "Hello? Hey good buddy its me Dom!... Whoa whoa whoa hold on there. Remember you owe me.... huh....yeah...yeah...uh huh... ok. Well look i got this buddy of mine and i want you to do me a favor. Come on over to the Tri Link's Cafe.... huh?... oh its not that far!. Ok you better be here! Seeya!" Dom calmy walks over to the table and sits.
"Who was that?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Nightbringer sighs. "We're doomed. He's like a bad rash...never goes away. Thought we ran far enough, but..."
Riki stares at the two. "...Who did you call?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"An old buddy of mine who owes me a favor. He's .... uh.... an elf."
"You two sound like you don't like him. Is that true?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Nightbringer stares up at Bern, her tail twitching from side to side. "You have no idea."
"An elf? Wow, don't see too many of them around these days. What's his name?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"My name is Marbles sweet thing." In the doorway stands a slender purple haired and eyed elf. He walks in and stares at Riki examining her from head to toe.
"Oh god he's here!" Dom puts his head on the table and hits it a couple of times. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Sweet thing?" Riki laughs, flattered. She takes in the elf's figure. "Marbles? What a weird name."
Nightbringer growls and whacks Dominic's leg with a paw. "Why? Why him?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Because i need him to boost up my weapons!"
Marbles takes a seat right next to Riki and leans closer to her. "Its not my real name... So whats your name sweety?" His eyes slowly start to drift downward. "What the...." Berns stares at the odd elf not knowing what to make of him. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Riki raises an eyebrow, but lets the elf continue his gazing, for now. "Riki Uth Haun. And if your eyes keep trailing down, my elven friend, you'll be meeting face to face with the floor." Her words are cheery, but there's a serious undertone to them, scantly noticeable.
"You couldn't have just...gone to the magic store and bought a spellbook, could you. Had to get the elf." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Can you join me?" He looks back up but after a while begins his drifted once more.
"This way is easier on my wallet though!" "This is your friend Dom?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Pax sighs and, having grown weary of idling around the cafe, gets up to his feet and begins bustling about the cafe; straightening things up, shuffling chairs and tables around, any idle task that occupies him is carried out. And, after a quick cleaning of the table he'd fallen asl*coughchoke* maintained as his base of operations for the past week or so, a fulfilled and happier Pax takes a seat on a dusty couch with his copy of Machiavelli's The Prince. With an open window laying a golden strip of sunlight across his shoulders and pages, he opens up to where his ragged bookmark keeps dilligent watch and continues reading his book.
